About Darkpeak MAC

Dark Peak MAC is based in Glossop, Derbyshire, and was formed in 1984 to provide a focal point for model flying in the area. Our older members have been flying on our club sites for over 30 years. The club runs numerous events and competitions, all well-attended by the members, including Efficiency Competitions, Slope Combat, full-size gliding, our annual table top sale, and our guest speaker evenings. We round off the year with our Christmas party, which often includes a build-and-fly competition on the night.

We have two flying sites and a slope, we have glow engine, helicopter and electric / slope pilots. we meet on the second Tuesday evening in every month, FROM 8.30PM at THE WINDY HARBOUR HOTEL. WOODHEAD RD (B6105). GLOSSOP
